Your Valley Tigers are the 2023 Class 4A State Golf Champions! It’s the sixth state title for our boys golf program!
Valley took home the title with a phenomenal team score of 590! Johnston was runner-up with 598 and Southeast Polk took third at 601. Braeden Nelson, led the Tigers with a two-day score of 143, earning runner-up honors! He shot a great two-under par 69 on Saturday. Congrats Braeden!
CT Norris, Cade Sunde and Aidan McGreen all had nice rounds of 149, finishing tied for 9th overall. Great playing, guys! This was definitely a team win and we’re so proud of how the team competed through the cold and windy conditions. They battled and finished on top!
